The 2021 MARNET ALDER SPRINGS PINOT NOIR was fermented with 20% whole cluster in a stainless steel open top tank for 15 days before going to press. The wine is 45% Calera clone, 45% 115 clone, 10% Swan clone from Alder Springs, an iconic Mendocino County geographical anomaly. The wine was made with natural yeasts, no additives, and minimal sulphur. Farming was 100% organic. It has notes ofsSaline red fruit, licorice, earthy umami, black cherry and clove.
