2009 was a cool year allowing for long hang time which promotes deep color and rich flavors. This year’s Chimera has a dark ruby red color. Aromas of plum, currant, brown sugar, rose petal, blood orange and vanilla. Rich, pure and vibrant flavors of blackberry preserve, cranberry, candy apple and sweet mixed fruit compote. Great palate feel with balanced acid and tannins with a long, layered and persistent finish.
